Lobi, at least makes sense that it's the currency for a business run by Quark, but it WOULD be nice to get more meaningful reasons to bother with GPL, like BUY LOBI. Otherwise, the players would buy everything out and start crying for more. They've stated, a long while back, that too many people had insane stock piles of GPL, so they're not going to bother with it anymore. The sheer fact that Lobi is canonically useless and GPL is the most worth while currency, aside from dilithium, just goes to show how little they care about canon when greed is involved. Such spaces could be decorated using GPL to buy from a set menu of options. Additional Optional Interior spaces: Places like the hydroponics bay on Next Gen's Enterprise or the Astrometrics section on Voyager.
